- ProSoya ProcessT
is a unique state-of-the-art patented technology
that naturally produces a "non-beany" soy beverage
of cereal-like taste. Unlike some other processes
that reject micronutrients contained bean hulls
(seed skin), ProSoya ProcessT uses whole beans.
- The lipoxygenase
enzyme is responsible for the beany, rancid-oil
like flavour of traditional soy beverages. The
ProSoya ProcessT of airless cold grinding of
soybeans in water keeps this enzyme dormant
while soy protein and other nutrients are released
in water and only then applies heat to inactivate
the enzyme. The result is a nutritious soymilk
base with an incredibly smooth mouthfeel and
outstanding non-beany taste.
- No petroleum solvents,
acid precipitants or processing chemicals are
used in the process. Some of these can leave
trace amount of carcinogens or significant quantity
of sodium in the product.
- ProSoya ProcessT
permits making of good tasting soymilk products
without loading them with high calorie ingredients
to mask the bad taste of soy resulting when
soymilk is extracted using alternate processes.
The process that
established SilkT, the best selling brand of soybean
beverages in the USA, and SoNiceT, the best selling
brand of soybean beverages in Canada, is used
in the manufacturing of Staeta beverages. Since
ProSoya process performs best at large scale production
levels with adequate automation and controls -
1000 litres per hour and higher capacities - Staeta
beverages are made with soymilk produced at such
a large scale plant installed in India. In addition,
with the exclusive licensing arrangement ProSoya
